FEED THE HERD 2026

Across the Big Country, ranching families are still feeling the aftermath of the drought. Pastures have struggled, hay supplies have been stretched thin, and the cost of keeping livestock fed has placed an enormous financial burden on local ranchers. At Chasing Dreams Ranch, we understand those challenges firsthand. That's why we've organized Feed the Herd 2026, a community livestock feed drive bringing neighbors, businesses, and ranching families together to help one another. And thanks to some wonderful local feed stores, helping is easier than ever!

You can donate livestock feed without ever having to haul it yourself! We've partnered with seven feed store locations across Abilene, Merkel, and Sweetwater to make donating convenient.
