The ongoing drought, rising feed costs, and lack of available grazing have created tremendous challenges for livestock owners throughout the Big Country. At Chasing Dreams Ranch, we're experiencing many of those same struggles ourselves. the Herd began with our own concerns about the winter ahead. But as we looked at the challenges facing our ranch, we realized we weren't the only ones worried about how we would keep our animals fed.We may not have the financial resources to help everyone, but we do have the ability to bring people together, open our ranch to the community, and work with local feed stores to make a difference. That's how Feed the Herd was born.Think of it as a food bank for livestock, created to help ranchers and livestock owners get through a difficult season. This is simply our way of giving back to the ranching community we love.

We want every applicant to understand one very important thing:There is absolutely NO COST to apply for or receive assistance through Feed the Herd. Not now.
